It is well known that the Windows Phone 7 emulator responds to mouse clicks. What is less known is that it also can take input from the physical keyboard. There are a few keyboard shortcuts that make the interaction with the emulator easier.
- PageUp - enables physical keyboard and minimizes the software keyboard
- PageDown - disables physical keyboard and maximizes the software keyboard
- F9 - volume up
- F10 - volume down
- F7 - invoke camera
- F3 - invoke Bing search
- F2 - the same as pressing the home button
- F1 - the same as pressing the back button
